VIDEO EXPERT - SHOOT N EDIT - EVENTS

Experience: 5–6 years (Event/Festival/Art & Culture industry preferred)

About the Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled video storyteller who can shoot and edit compelling visual content for Once Upon India (OUI) - India’s most loved platform for intimate musical experiences and cultural mehfils. Your job is not just to film, but to capture the soul of our experiences the music, the emotion, the magic and shape it into stories that move people.

What You'll Do:

• Shoot events, behind-the-scenes, reels, interviews, artist features, and curated content as per the content calendar
• Edit crisp, high-impact videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, and other relevant tools
• Collaborate with our creative, design and social teams to ideate and bring fresh content to life
• Handle video from start to finish: shooting, sound, lighting, color grading, and post-production
• Travel across cities for shows and tours — and capture every essence of the OUI journey
• Keep a pulse on trends in storytelling, music, and social platforms to keep our content fresh and relevant
• Archive and maintain all content neatly and consistently

What You Bring:

• 5–6 years of experience in shooting and editing (event/music/arts content preferred)
• Strong storytelling instinct — you know when to cut, when to hold, and how to evoke emotion
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, and a good understanding of audio editing
• Familiarity with shooting on DSLRs/mirrorless cameras, lighting rigs, gimbals, and mics
• Eye for aesthetics — framing, color grading, and transitions that speak to a premium, art-driven audience
• Flexibility, commitment, and excitement to work in fast-paced, on-ground environments
• A passion for music, art, and storytelling
