Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and creative video editor who will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that aligns with brand objectives and campaign goals. You’ll collaborate closely with the creative, content, and marketing teams to bring compelling visual stories to life.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production & Editing

• Edit raw footage into polished video content for various platforms (social media, websites, ads, brand films, presentations).
• Assemble video sequences with clean cuts, seamless transitions, and smooth pacing.
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, audio tracks, music, sound effects, and color grading to enhance final output.
• Ensure videos align with client briefs, brand guidelines, and campaign objectives.

Collaboration & Creative Input

• Work with the Creative Director and team to understand briefs, concepts, storyboards, and vision.
• Provide creative ideas, suggest visual storytelling techniques, and contribute to storyboard discussions.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and managers to deliver integrated campaign content.

Workflow & Asset Management

• Organize and maintain project files, raw footage, exports, and asset libraries reliably.
• Ensure consistent version control, back-ups, and delivery schedules.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to elevate production quality.

Skills & Technical Requirements

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound editing, and visual composition.
• Ability to edit for different formats (Reels, Shorts, Ads, YouTube, corporate, long-form).

Nice to Have

• Motion graphics and animation skills (After Effects)
• Knowledge of VFX basics and 3D/CGI elements
• Experience in shooting basics (camera operation, lighting, framing) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Film & Video Production, Animation, Mass Communication, Multimedia or related field (preferred).
• A strong portfolio showcasing video editing and storytelling work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
