Video Editor

The Social Buddies is looking for a passionate and skilled Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should be able to craft engaging, high-quality videos that reflect our brand’s vision and connect with audiences across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos for social media, ads, and brand campaigns.
• Add music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance storytelling.
• Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver on-brand content.
• Ensure all videos align with the latest social media trends and platform requirements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and color grading.
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Familiarity with current social media trends and short-form content formats (Reels, Shorts, etc.).
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Prior experience in an agency or media company is a plus.
