Overview

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos that align with our creative vision. The ideal candidate has strong editing skills, a flair for motion graphics and typography, and a good eye for detail — along with the ability to handle basic video shooting when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into engaging, visually appealing videos for various projects.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, storyboards, and shot lists.
• Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects to elevate video quality.
• Perform basic video shooting when required, ensuring proper framing, lighting, and audio capture.
• Trim and sequence footage to tell a clear, compelling story.
• Add music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance viewer experience.
• Perform color correction and adjust brightness, contrast, and saturation.
• Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines, technical specifications, and deadlines.
• Brainstorm fresh, innovative ideas for video content with the creative team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid, etc.).
• Strong understanding of typography, 2D animation, and motion graphics.
• Basic experience with video shooting, including handling cameras, framing, and basic lighting.
• Familiarity with FTP protocols for file sharing and transfer.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator for simple graphic and photo edits.
• Understanding of the video production process from shooting to final delivery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills.
