Role Overview:

versatile Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit

  vertical Reels (15–60 sec)

  and

  YouTube Shorts

  using trends, soundtracks, transitions, and storytelling hooks.
• Edit

  2–3 min cinematic wedding short films

  using primary footage, drone shots, ambient audio, and music, often delivered as the first cut to clients.
• Work with the Creative Director and Content Manager on sequencing, style references, and storyline-based edits.
• Enhance footage with smooth transitions, color grading, audio balancing, and slow-motion effects.
• Cut and arrange sequences that lead into the full-length wedding film.
• Select music that complements mood, speech, and visuals (licensed or royalty-free).
• Organize and manage project files efficiently for scalable workflows.

Requirements:

• Strong command over Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience in editing

  luxury or cinematic wedding videos

  (portfolio required).
• Proficient in crafting engaging

  Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts

  using CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of pacing, emotional beats, transitions, and aesthetic storytelling.
• Excellent audio syncing, cut-to-beat, and basic sound design.
• Experience working with RAW/LOG footage and multicam setups preferred.
• Should be comfortable working under deadlines with attention to detail.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):

• Motion graphics and title animations (basic)
• Color grading in DaVinci Resolve
• Knowledge of Instagram and YouTube platform requirements
• Wedding film experience with international or destination weddings
