As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in our team by utilizing your creative skills to transform raw footage into compelling video content that resonates with our audience and adheres to our brand vision. Your passion for storytelling through visual media will be evident in your work, as you collaborate with the production team to understand project goals and timelines. Your primary responsibilities will include editing and assembling recorded footage to align with the director's vision, enhancing videos with graphics, sound effects, and motion graphics using tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Avid, After Effects, and Cinema 4D. Additionally, you will be proficient in photo editing and manipulation using software like Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One. You will manage video files through FTP and content management systems to maintain organized workflows, create engaging thumbnails and promotional materials through graphic design skills using Illustrator and InDesign. Your role will also involve staying updated on industry trends in video production, motion graphics, and animation techniques. To excel in this position, you should have a strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, and Avid. Experience in video production processes from filming to post-production, a solid understanding of typography, motion graphics, and photo editing techniques are essential. Familiarity with 3D animation software like Maya would be advantageous. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously will be key to your success. Strong communication skills are crucial for effectively conveying ideas within the team.
