The Video Editor cum Camera Operator will be responsible for handling video production, including filming, editing, and post-production of academic, cultural, and institutional programs. The role requires technical proficiency in camera operations, editing software, and creativity in developing high-quality visual content to support the institute’s academic, cultural, and outreach activities.
> Operate professional cameras for recording lectures, seminars, conferences, cultural programs, and institutional events.
> Edit raw footage into polished videos using professional software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
> Ensure high-quality audio and visual output for both offline and online platforms
> Manage lighting, framing, and sound recording during video shoots
> Maintain and organize video equipment, ensuring its proper usage and safety
> Coordinate live streaming of institutional programs
> Archive and manage video files, ensuring systematic storage and easy retrieval
> Collaborate with faculty, departments, and administration to develop engaging media content
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university/institution
Experience: Familiarity with video editing software and multimedia production tools is essential. Candidates with experience in different camera operations, handling live streaming setups will be given additional preference.
