Video Editor Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Edit shoot footage and short-form videos (Reels, YouTube Shorts, ads, product demos, etc.)
• Add transitions, sound effects, background music and basic motion graphics.
• Use tools like

  Adobe Premiere Pro

  ,

  Final Cut Pro

  ,

  After Effects

  ,

  Canva

  , or similar to edit and enhance videos.
• Generate and edit

  AI videos

  using available tools.
• Create motion videos using

  Canva

  elements and templates.
• Collaborate with copywriter / content teams to understand scripts and content flow.
• Ensure final videos are delivered in required formats and aspect ratios.
• Stay updated on latest editing trends, content formats and social media styles.

Requirements

• Basic video editing skills with good understanding of transitions, audio sync and pacing.
• Familiarity with at least one professional editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Canva for motion/video templates.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Good to Have (Optional)

• Knowledge of AI video generation tools (e.g., Veo3, Pika, Runway, Synthesia, etc.).
• Understanding of social media best practices and trends.
• Basic colour correction and sound design skills.
