About This Role

This is a 4-month, full-time, in-office internship for beginner video editors looking to gain real-world experience. You’ll be collaborating on client projects, editing social content, and assisting in motion design and post-production tasks.

What You'll Do

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media and client campaigns.
• Work on real client footage under supervision.
• Learn pacing, sound design, color grading, and editing flow.
• Collaborate with creative leads and other editors.
• Deliver export-ready files in different formats.

Tools You’ll Work With

• Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory)
• After Effects (optional but a plus)
• DaVinci Resolve, Audition, or any additional video tools you’re comfortable with.

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for video editing and digital storytelling.
• Basic understanding of editing software (especially Premiere Pro).
• Laptop capable of handling HD/4K footage.
• Creative mindset and a strong attention to detail.
• A strong willingness to learn and receive feedback.

Bonus If You Have:

• A portfolio or sample work (You’ll be prioritized if you share it, but not mandatory).
• Interest in YouTube, short-form content, music/sound sync editing.

What This Internship Is (and Isn’t)

• A full-time, in-office internship to gain industry-level experience.
• An opportunity to work on real projects for real clients.
• A pathway to a potential full-time position based on performance.
• This is not a training program or course.
• We do not provide systems, so you’ll need your own editing-capable laptop.
• This is not remote or part-time.

Compensation.

• Performance-based incentives or paid opportunities may be offered from the 2nd month onwards.
• Top performers may be offered a full-time job at Ilum Media LLP after internship.
