Your key responsibilities will include managing video projects from inception to completion, collaborating with the team to generate innovative ideas and concepts, skillfully manipulating and editing video pieces to create a seamless viewing experience, and understanding the team's requirements and specifications to produce high-quality videos. You will be responsible for reviewing raw materials, developing video scripts, trimming footage segments, arranging the sequence of the film, integrating music, dialogues, graphics, and effects, as well as creating both rough and final cuts. Additionally, you will ensure logical sequencing, smooth transitions, and consult with stakeholders throughout the production and post-production processes. To excel in this role, you should have proven work experience as a video editor, a strong command of digital technology and editing software such as Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut, and a demonstrable video editing aptitude showcased in a robust portfolio. Your creativity, storytelling skills, and hands-on experience with editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Flash will be essential in producing visually appealing and engaging content.
