Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage to create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing videos for YouTube and other social media channels.
• Collaborate with the creative team, including scriptwriters, producers, and social media managers, to ensure the final product aligns with the intended vision and brand guidelines.
• Select the most appropriate footage, music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance storytelling and overall video impact.
• Maintain consistent visual style, pacing, and tone across all videos, in line with brand identity and target audience preferences.
• Optimize videos for different social media platforms, considering aspect ratios, length, and platform-specific requirements.
• Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and special effects to elevate production value.
• Ensure proper synchronization of audio and video elements, and perform color correction and audio mixing as needed.
• Manage and organize digital assets, including footage, project files, and final deliverables.
• Adhere to project deadlines and work efficiently under pressure to deliver high-quality videos on schedule.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, software, and trends in the YouTube and social media landscape.

Requirements:

• Video Editing Course or Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 1–3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably for YouTube or other social media platforms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing excellent editing skills and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Experience with motion graphics and visual effects software, such as Adobe After Effects or Motion.
• In-depth knowledge of YouTube and other major social media platforms, including video specifications and best practices.
• Understanding of basic color theory, composition, and audio mixing principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to experiment with new editing techniques and styles.
