About the Role:

Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert raw podcast audio files into polished video content suitable for YouTube.
• Add static or dynamic backgrounds, titles, and relevant graphics to enhance visual appeal.
• Synchronize audio with video elements to ensure perfect timing and smooth flow.
• Insert subtitles or captions for better accessibility and engagement.
• Optimize video format, resolution, and file size for YouTube upload.
• Maintain a consistent style and branding across all podcast videos.
• Collaborate with the creative and content team to meet publishing schedules.
• Continuously improve video quality based on audience feedback and performance analytics.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably with YouTube or podcast content.
• Strong knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
• Ability to create visually appealing videos using static images, animations, or stock footage.
• Understanding of YouTube video requirements, formats, and SEO-friendly elements (titles, thumbnails, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of sound editing and audio enhancement is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in editing podcasts or long-form conversational videos.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and simple animation techniques.
• Knowledge of brand consistency and visual storytelling.
