Video Editor & AI Specialist

HashHackCode is seeking a Video Editor & AI Specialist to bring our stories, student journeys, and course content to life through creative editing and smart use of AI tools. If you are passionate about visual storytelling and love experimenting with new technology, this role is for you!

Your roles and responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit short-form and long-form videos, including student documentaries, social media reels, and educational modules.
• AI Assembly: Use AI tools for rough cuts, captioning, subtitles, translations, and stock/b-roll suggestions to speed up workflow.
• Thumbnails & Visual Assets: Create engaging YouTube and social thumbnails, intro/outro graphics, and visual templates.
• Audio & Accessibility: Enhance audio quality, add subtitles, and ensure all videos are accessible and easy to follow.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with content writers, social media executives, and designers to deliver cohesive and on-brand video assets.
• Feedback & Iteration: Incorporate feedback, iterate quickly, and deliver projects on tight timelines.
• Asset Management: Organize and archive raw footage, project files, and completed videos for easy access and future use.
• Trend Research: Stay updated on video trends, AI editing innovations, and suggest ideas for new formats or approaches.

What we require:

• Video editing skills: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AI: Eagerness to learn and experiment with AI video tools (for editing, captions, or effects).
• Creativity: Strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual clarity.
• Attention to detail: Commitment to producing high-quality, error-free content.
• Collaboration: Team player, open to feedback, and able to work cross-functionally.
