[Aanchalik Khabre] is a leading regional news platform dedicated to delivering timely and relevant local news to our audience. We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team and help produce engaging video content for our news segments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished news videos, ensuring high-quality visuals and audio.
• Add graphics, captions, transitions, and effects to enhance storytelling.
• Trim, splice, and synchronize video clips to match news narratives.
• Ensure videos align with the channel’s tone, style, and branding.
• Work closely with reporters and producers to meet deadlines.
• Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, social media, TV, etc.).
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and software.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in news/media.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Aftereffects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of regional language (if applicable) is preferred.
