Video Editor (Bulk Post-Production)

Role: Video Editor – Post-production Specialist (Remote/Contract)

Key Responsibilities

Receive raw footage for each conversation (two clips per conversation: turn 1, turn 2).

Perform trimming/cutting to remove dead time, pauses, errors and ensure smooth flow.

Sync audio & video accurately (check lip-sync, speaker clarity, background audio).

Add subtitles/captions (accurate dialogue, timing aligned with speech).

Apply standard colour correction, audio level normalisation and noise-reduction.

Export finalized videos in the required format (e.g., MP4, 1080p, specified bitrate).

Maintain consistent naming conventions, folder structure and version control.

Perform quality-control checks: no audio dropouts, synced subtitles, correct orientation.

Work as part of a vendor team to meet daily production quotas and deadlines.

Accept feedback, make revisions quickly, maintain high throughput + high quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in video editing (post production) using NLEs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.

Strong audio editing skills: clearing background noise, normalising levels, syncing audio/video.

Subtitle/caption creation experience (SRT files, timeline alignment).

Excellent attention to detail (ensuring subtitle accuracy, proper cuts, naming conventions).

Able to handle large volume (hundreds of clips) while maintaining consistency.

Good communication skills and ability to follow templates/instructions precisely.

Ability to deliver under strict deadlines and manage files systematically.

(Desirable) Experience with AI-assisted video editing tools or workflows.

(Desirable) Experience working on datasets or training data video editing for AI/ML projects.

Project Details & Logistics

Videos will be provided in raw format; editing templates and naming protocols will be provided.

Daily/weekly quota to meet — for example, 20-40 videos per day depending on duration and complexity.

Remote work acceptable; vendor must have stable internet and editing workstation with required software.
