Job Description

Parul University is seeking candidates who will be responsible for driving academic and administrative excellence for the Faculty of Management Studies.


PhD degree with Minimum 15 years experience in Teaching/industry/Research out of which 5 years must be at the level

of Professor. Administrative experience is desirable


Eligibility Criteria: The candidates eligible for this position should have:

1. Worked in top 100 NIRF colleges.

2. ⁠Worked in capacities for academic bodies like academic council, board of studies or similar bodies.

3. ⁠Worked in difference capacities of NAAC accredited colleges.

4. Experience in difference capacities of IQAC of NAAC accredited colleges.

5. ⁠NAAC coordinator experience.

6. ⁠Worked in University establishment.

7. ⁠Work experience in statutory bodies.

8. Research grants.

9. ⁠guided PhD students.

10. ⁠Publications in top journals with H index and impact factors.


Detailed Position Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities shall include ensuring the efficient conduct of classes, examinations, and technical training programs, fostering innovation and research, strengthening industry partnerships, and promoting international collaborations and exchange programs.

  1. Provide guidance to Heads of Departments and teachers in designing timetables to optimize the utilization of infrastructure and human resources effectively.
  2. Oversee the timely preparation and distribution of information among students upon commencement of the semester/ term containing essential details about studies, examinations, rules, schedules, and guidelines.
  3. Serve as the single point of contact for the institution to ensure the timely completion of the enrollment generation process for newly admitted students.
  4. Ensure that institutional data related to teaching and learning, staff, examinations, academic programs, and circulars/notices for students is regularly updated on the university website and the MIS.
  5. Conduct regular meetings with teaching and non-teaching staff to understand challenges related to teaching and learning process and examinations and explore solutions in consultation with the Principal.
  6. Hold periodic meetings with students to gather feedback on the teaching-learning process and the conduct of examinations and explore avenues for continuous Updation/ enhancement in the same in consultation with the Principal.
  7. Assist the Principal and Dean of the respective faculty in preparing for the scheduled visit of the expert committee for the institute's inspection.
  8. Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, and symposiums in collaboration with the Principal and the Centre for Human Resource Development.
  9. Collaborate with the Admissions Cell to organize career awareness seminars in various regions to promote the institute's programmes among prospective students.
