Vice President - R&D Development

As the Vice President (VP) of Engineering for the Research & Development (R&D) division of communication products at our company, you will be leading a team responsible for the development of various communication products such as Access Points, UBR-P2P, P2MP, and Network Switches. Your role will involve defining the technology roadmap, driving innovation in wireless networking, RF design, and embedded systems, and ensuring successful product development. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the R&D team, managing the design, development, testing, and deployment of communication products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical developments with business goals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, driving cost optimization and performance improvements, mentoring and developing a team of engineers, and staying updated with the latest networking technologies and trends. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 15+ years of experience in wireless communication, networking, and embedded systems development. You should have proven expertise in Access Points, UBR-P2P, P2MP, Ethernet Switches, and RF technologies, as well as strong knowledge of network protocols, SDN, and cloud-managed networking. Experience in leading large-scale engineering teams, hands-on firmware development, hardware design, and excellent problem-solving skills are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience with Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, IoT, AI-driven networking solutions, network security, cloud computing, edge computing architectures, and patent filings/R&D grants.
