Vice President of Artificial Intelligence

As an AI leader in our organization, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions that drive value across various functions such as Operations, Risk, Underwriting & Claims, and Customer Service. Your responsibilities will include evangelizing and shaping our Generative AI strategy while maintaining a balance between strategic foresight and execution discipline. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the transformation of our operational processes and embed intelligence in our digital initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions within the BFSI sector, with a focus on the insurance and financial services domains. - Utilize your deep expertise in AI/ML model development to enhance business impact and operational efficiency. - Demonstrate practical experience in Generative AI, including model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, LLMOps, and bias controls. - Manage end-to-end delivery processes, covering data engineering, feature engineering, model development, containerized deployment, CI/CD, monitoring, and model lifecycle management. - Leverage your proficiency in Python, ML frameworks, and MLOps practices to streamline AI solution development. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence in driving AI initiatives forward. Qualifications Required: - Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Econometrics, or equivalent. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles focused on building AI/ML programs, preferably within the insurance/financial services industry. - Track record of successfully developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in the BFSI sector. - Strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, and cloud platforms, with a preference for experience with AWS. - Passion for continuous learning and thought leadership in the field of AI.
