Key Responsibilities: - Architect and lead the development of electric powertrain and battery systems. - Lead the design and integration of battery systems, including pack architecture, BMS, and thermal management. - Oversee performance optimization, safety, and system integration throughout the vehicle. - Establish technical standards, milestones, and development strategies aligned with product objectives. - Collaborate with suppliers, testing partners, and prototyping vendors to facilitate rapid iterations. - Develop and guide a proficient engineering team while scaling operations. - Contribute to product strategy, investor discussions, and long-term R&D direction. Qualifications Required: - 8-15 years of experience in EV powertrain, battery systems, or performance vehicle engineering. - Proficiency in developing electric drivetrains, BMS, thermal systems, or system integration. - Demonstrated hands-on, startup-ready approach with a willingness to innovate and improve. - Strong passion for performance engineering and a drive to push boundaries in EV technology. - Ability to lead a compact yet efficient team and take full accountability for engineering outcomes. - Previous involvement with an EV startup, OEM, or Tier-1 in vehicle electrification would be advantageous.
