Role Overview: You will be the CTO & Co-Founder at Zuperspeed, leading the technology roadmap for India's first electric sports car. Your role will involve architecting the core EV systems, shaping the product from first principles, and co-creating a new kind of performance brand focused on precision, emotion, and responsiveness in driving. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and lead the development of electric powertrain and battery systems. - Lead the design and integration of battery systems including pack architecture, BMS, and thermal management. - Oversee performance optimization, safety, and system integration across the vehicle. - Set technical standards, milestones, and development strategies aligned with product goals. - Collaborate with suppliers, testing partners, and prototyping vendors for fast iterations. - Build and mentor a lean, high-performance engineering team as the company scales. - Contribute to product strategy, investor conversations, and long-term R&D direction. Qualifications Required: - 8-15 years of experience in EV powertrain, battery systems, or performance vehicle engineering. - Experience in developing electric drivetrains, BMS, thermal systems, or system integration. - Hands-on, startup-ready mindset with a passion for performance engineering and innovation in EVs. - Comfortable leading a small, sharp team and taking full ownership of engineering outcomes. - Previous experience at an EV startup, OEM, or Tier-1 in vehicle electrification is a plus.
