Job Description

We are looking for an experienced VP of Engineering / Technology to manage a diverse development team. The responsibilities of a VP include leading a team of developers and software engineers, collaborating with product teams, and improving company policies and standards. Role & responsibilities Leading the team through management and mentorship. Developing standards and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and consistent. Work with the Founders and the management team to solve business problems using technology Design and build secure, scalable, and reliable app and web products for a global user base Lead the team through management and mentorship Contribute to recruitment activities Experience with new, latest technologies and trends such as ReactJS, Angular, Java, PHP, AI, Web and Mobile Technologies etc Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills; Prior experience as a software developer (MUST); Preferred candidate profile At least 8 13 years of proven record in a similar role, demonstrating drive, ambition and business acumen Bachelor's / Masters degree in Technology from Top Tier institutes like IIT / NIT/ BITS is mandatory; additional qualifications/courses in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or related fields would be a bonus In depth knowledge of micro services architecture, AWS ecosystem, LAMP stack and agile methodology Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Technical courses and bootcamps that cover topics like coding, software development and UX design can bolster an aspiring VP of engineering’s skills. Perks and benefits As per company standards
