Vice President, Accounts Payable, Finance

Role Overview: As a Finance Manager at the bank, your role is crucial in maintaining world-class standards in reporting, financial planning, and finance processes. You will play a vital part in providing insights and analyses to support the bank in making informed business decisions, whether it be related to product development or customer profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Leadership & Team Management: - Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration. - Develop and execute team strategies to achieve operational targets and drive process enhancements. - Operational Excellence & Compliance: - Uphold robust internal controls to mitigate operational losses and audit issues. - Ensure full GST and TDS compliance; proactively address compliance matters and offer necessary support to the Central Tax team. - Financial Reporting & Control: - Validate the General Ledger Accounts (GLAO) for accounts managed by the AP team. - Process Improvement & Automation: - Identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation. - Take charge of implementing new technologies and systems. - Create and implement KPIs to track progress and gauge success. - Stakeholder Management: - Establish and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (senior management, Business/Support teams, auditors). - Effectively communicate and collaborate to resolve issues and ensure alignment on priorities. - Oversee relationships with outsourced service providers, monitoring performance against SLAs. Qualification Required: - Proven experience in managing teams comprising 10+ members. - Experience in handling external/third-party vendor-based operational processes.
