Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Vibration Analyst to monitor and analyze data from live sensors and collaborate with the data science team to develop advanced analytics pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vibration analysis, predictive maintenance, and signal processing, as well as experience in working with large datasets and machine learning models. Key Responsibilities - Monitor and analyze real-time vibration data from live sensors to detect potential faults and anomalies in rotating machinery. - Perform in-depth vibration analysis, including time-waveform analysis, spectral analysis, and envelope detection to identify failure modes. - Collaborate with the data science team to develop machine learning-based analytics pipelines for predictive maintenance. - Validate and interpret analytical insights generated by AI/ML models to enhance diagnostic accuracy. - Assist in the selection, installation, and calibration of vibration monitoring sensors. - Develop and uphold standards for data acquisition, signal processing, and condition monitoring strategies. - Provide technical expertise in root cause analysis and suggest corrective actions to minimize equipment failures. - Document and report findings, generating detailed analysis reports for engineering and maintenance teams. - Conduct training sessions for junior analysts and maintenance teams to improve understanding of vibration monitoring and analysis. Key Requirements - Certification: Level 3 Vibration Analyst certification (ISO 18436-2) is mandatory. - Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in vibration analysis and condition monitoring of rotating equipment. - Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of vibration diagnostics, signal processing techniques, and spectral analysis. - Software Proficiency: Experience with vibration analysis software such as Emerson CSI, SKF, Pruftechnik, or similar tools. - Data Science Collaboration: Familiarity with machine learning concepts and ability to collaborate with data scientists on model development. - Industry Knowledge: Experience in industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, power plants, or similar environments. - Communication Skills: Strong ability to interpret and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and reliability improvement.
