Job Description

JOB ROLE

  1. Regular Shift plant maintenance work at Blast furnace and Sinter plant
  2. Checking of all panel instrument readings by multimeter, mA feeder, megger etc.
  3. identify and resolve earth fault, grounding, floating power etc..
  4. Instrument mA or mV loop checking
  5. Thermocouple/RTD checking
  6. Transmitters and control valves checking
  7. Cable continuity checking at field, JB, PLC rack
  8. Coordinate and support with Mechanical ad Electrical technicians to solve plant problems
  9. Check Gas and Liquid analysers
  10. Replacement of instruments by spare units and restoring the loop
  11. Check and solve problems of temp switch, pressure switch, level switch
  12. Ultrasonic / Radar level sensors
  13. Camera checking
  14. Reporting daily activity to Shift manager


Qualifications

ITI mech/electrical/instrumentation course with 2 yrs experience in plant instrumentation maintenance
