As an intern in the Research & Analysis position at Paracoat Products (PCP), you will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and analyzing vendors for raw materials in both domestic and international markets. This internship offers valuable exposure to procurement, sourcing strategies, and global supply chain management. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct market research to identify potential raw material vendors, both domestic and imports. - Collect, organize, and analyze vendor data including pricing, lead times, certifications, and quality standards. - Benchmark domestic suppliers against international suppliers to assess competitiveness. - Support in preparing vendor comparison reports and presentations for management. - Assist in evaluating supplier risk, reliability, and compliance with company requirements. - Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain team on ongoing projects. Qualifications Required: - Motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in research and analysis. - Ability to conduct market research effectively and analyze vendor data accurately. - Strong organizational skills to manage and present vendor information efficiently. - Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and present findings effectively.
