Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Vendor Marketplace Administrator to manage and scale our vendor operations on the platform. You will serve as the key liaison between vendors, tech teams, and operations to ensure seamless onboarding, listing quality, catalogue accuracy, pricing, and order fulfilment.

This is a high-impact role critical to building trust and operational excellence in our marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Onboarding: Identify, vet, and onboard new vendors across categories.
  • Catalogue Management: Ensure accurate and complete listings, descriptions, and images are uploaded to the marketplace.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure compliance, support issue resolution, and promote sales growth.
  • Order & Fulfilment Oversight: Monitor vendor performance on delivery timelines, inventory updates, cancellations, and returns.
  • Quality & Compliance Audits: Enforce marketplace guidelines, quality standards, and legal documentation requirements.
  • Data & Reporting: Generate regular reports on vendor performance, product availability, and catalogue quality.
  • Platform Coordination: Work closely with the tech/product team to enhance vendor-related tools, dashboards, and workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, vendor management, or marketplace administration.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and basic ERP tools (WMS and ERP systems is a plus).
  • High attention to detail with a bias toward action and ownership.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment: flexible, resourceful, and goal driven.

Essential Skills and experience

  • Experience with cataloguing tools, product listing standards, or content creation.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive can-do attitude
  • Familiarity with marketplace policies (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
  • Multilingual (Marathi, Hindi, and English – professional).
  • Proficiency in Excel - Strong command of advanced Excel functions and formulas.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central and B2B ecommerce operations

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
