Vehicle Validation & Testing Engineer

• Perform

  static and dynamic vehicle inspections

  , identify issues, and document findings including PDS verification
• Issue identification, root causing and follow up until closure and maintain single issue list file.
• Measure, Monitor and analyse

  consumable part life

  (e.g., brakes, tyres, discs) based on usage and test data.
• SOT & EOT test report preparation for validation vehicles.
• Maintain PMS of validation vehicles and keeping of records.
• Manage

  technicians

  , ensuring efficient execution of validation tasks and test Lab activities.
• Diagnose vehicle systems using tools such as

  Vehicle

  VDS

  , Grade-X and other diagnostic platforms.
• Prepare and maintain

  validation vehicles

  throughout build and testing phases.
• Conduct

  basic data collection

  and logging activities on test vehicles.
• Coordinate

  special vehicle setups

  for performance, durability, and regulatory testing equipped with thermocouples and other instrumentation.
• Operate and interpret data from

  testing instruments

  such as V-Box, temperature loggers, and performance sensors.
• Utilize

  precision measuring tools

  including vernier callipers, screw gauges, torque meters, dB meters, and mustimeters.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and homologation teams to resolve validation issues.
• Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and corrective actions
• IATF knowledge preferable. Data records of validation and workshop facility as per IATF and department procedure
• Maintain PM of workshop equipment to ensure there is no downtime.
• Driving authorization preferable
• NEV (New energy vehicle) knowledge preferable
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft tools (PPT, Excel, Word)
• Vehicle manufacturing processes knowledge
• Vehicle Product knowledge
