Job Description

Job Summary: QE Complex Problem Analysis

This role focuses on design validation, root cause analysis, and process improvement within automotive engineering, emphasizing precision and problem-solving across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Verification & Validation:

Use CATIA or similar tools for assembly, dimensioning, and space analysis.
Conduct tolerance stacking and comparative part studies to validate complex designs.

Vehicle Analysis & Issue Resolution:

Perform dimensional checks on vehicles and assess against standards.
Apply RCA and CAPA methodologies to prevent reoccurrence of issues.

Advanced Measurement Techniques:

Operate CMM and Faro laser scanners.
Use Polyworks for probing and scanning; interpret GD&T and metrology data.

Process & Model Knowledge:

Understand full process from supplier to car manufacturing.
Conduct FMEA, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
Familiar with new model development flows and event purposes.

Communication & Problem Solving:

Clearly articulate requirements and coordinate effectively.
Apply critical thinking tools like 5 Why and 5W2H to develop solutions.
