Job Requirements

VE & Should Cost Engineer Electronics.

Capture Manufacturing related commodities by referring various engineering drawings helpful in Should Cost and Inventory requirements.
Data extraction from engineering drawings would focus on the ability to extract and interpret data from technical drawings to support tasks like cost estimation, design verification, and material ordering.
Have experience with PCB design specification, DFM, DFA.
Full understanding of PCB and PCBA manufacturing and assembly processes.
Contribute to component library development for schematic symbols and footprints per IPC standards.
Conduct teardowns of competing product
Present results from ongoing individual workgroup competitive assessments
Collaborate with the Advanced Manufacturing & Supply Chain Engineering
Global Supply Management divisions in developing and maintaining cost methods and models
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the VECE COE to implement solutions and drive the successful execution of component engineering initiatives
