Job Description

Job Summary:

The Van Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales through direct van operations, ensuring effective distribution, and maintaining strong relationships with retailers and customers. The role involves achieving daily sales targets, managing route coverage, ensuring product visibility, and executing marketing and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Distribution:
  • Drive the van to assigned routes and sell company products directly to retailers and customers.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as set by the management.
  • Ensure effective coverage of all outlets within the designated area.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Merchandising & Promotion:
  • Ensure proper product display and visibility in stores.
  • Execute in-store promotions, sampling, and visibility campaigns as instructed.
  • Monitor and report competitor activities in the market.
  • Inventory & Cash Handling:
  • Manage van stock, ensuring accuracy of loading and unloading.
  • Maintain proper records of sales, stock, and cash collection.
  • Deposit daily sales collections as per company policy.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Submit daily sales reports, route plans, and expense statements.
  • Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
  • Update customer and route information regularly.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Minimum 10+2 / Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in FMCG / Beverage / Consumer Goods sales (van sales experience preferred).
  • License: Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is mandatory.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Customer service orientation and persuasive selling ability.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management and cash handling.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with local routes and market dynamics.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in a field-based role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
