Reporting To: Team Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Valuation & Litigation Assistant. This position will provide support to senior professionals in the fields of valuation and litigation, ensuring the smooth management and execution of tasks related to financial analysis and document preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and manage spreadsheets, charts, and tables using MS Excel for analysis and reporting.
2. Prepare and format PowerPoint presentations for meetings, hearings, and client discussions.
3. Use MS Word to draft and edit legal documents, contracts, and other business correspondence.
4. Assist senior staff in preparing financial reports, valuations, and litigation documents.
5. Conduct research and data collection to support valuation and litigation activities.
6. Organize and maintain files, records, and databases for easy access and retrieval.
7. Ensure compliance with deadlines and help track the progress of various litigation tasks.
8. Provide general administrative support.
Required Skills:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong research and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Success Metrics:
1. Successful completion of key valuation and litigation reports with minimal revisions and high-quality formatting.
2. Effective time management, ensuring deadlines for 90% of tasks are met, with smooth execution of all assigned valuation and litigation duties.
3. Improvement in document preparation turnaround time by 20-30% through better organization and streamlined workflows.
4. Reduction in operational errors by actively reviewing and improving processes for document management and data entry.
5. Strong positive feedback from senior professionals on collaboration, work quality, and communication skills.
6. Updating & establishing SOPs and adopting across work.
