Associate - US Accounting

You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented US Accounting Associate joining our team to assist in various aspects of US-based accounting processes. Your role involves tasks such as bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax filings, providing an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to kick-start their careers in US accounting while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records for US-based clients, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledger entries. You will assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, perform bank reconciliations, prepare financial statements, and support the accounting team in preparing financial reports for clients and management. Ensuring compliance with US accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations will be vital. You will assist in maintaining organized documentation of financial transactions and support senior accountants in client-facing activities, focusing on effective communication. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelors or Masters degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent English communication skills. The ability to work in a team, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and willingness to learn and develop accounting skills are essential. Knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks, Tally, or related tools is a plus.
