Associate - US Accounting

You will be working as a US Accounting Associate where you will be involved in various aspects of US-based accounting processes, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax filings. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to kick-start their careers in US accounting and gain practical experience in a dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients based in the US. - Help prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain general ledger entries. - Support in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. - Perform bank reconciliations and address discrepancies promptly. - Aid in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. - Assist in preparing monthly or quarterly financial reports for clients and management. - Ensure compliance with US accounting standards, tax laws, and other financial regulations. - Maintain accurate and organized documentation of financial transactions. - Provide support to senior accountants in client-facing activities with effective communication. Qualifications: - Bachelors / masters degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal). - Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks, Tally, or other related tools is a plus. - A strong willingness to learn and develop accounting skills.
