Job Description

  • Advise clients on the entire range of Indian employment law, including:
  • Employee lifecycle matters (recruitment, contracts, HR policies).
  • Workforce restructuring, retrenchment, and employee separation.
  • Grievance redressal, disciplinary action, and compliance investigations.
  • Employment-related regulatory compliance (ID Act, S&E Acts, PoSH, etc.
  • Labour law due diligence.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, separation terms, non-compete clauses, and contractor arrangements.
  • Monitor and advise on evolving labor codes and regulatory reforms.
  • Provide internal training to client HR/legal teams on key employment law topics (e.g,PoSH, whistleblower frameworks, diversity and inclusion).
  • Mentor junior team members and support practice development initiatives.

Must Have Qualifications

  • Law degree from an accredited law school.
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in employment/labour law.
  • Prior experience at a leading law firm or in-house legal team with strong employment law exposure
