We re seeking a motivated UX Designer to help us envision and deliver exceptional customer experiences for our Insurtech products and experiences. We work on a global scale for multiple brands, across devices and platforms, in a diverse and collaborative environment.
Team description: You will be part a of our global design team at EG and will work on designing experiences for our travelers across the globe, across all our brands, within our Insurtech initiatives.
Business Contribution/Impact: In this role, you will be particularly focused on designing the end-to-end experience of insurance shopping to servicing and management experiences for our travelers who purchase our products. You will be responsible for defining the end-to-end delightful traveler experience to boost trust in our products and enable them to choose us again when they return to any of the EG brands for their next trip. Your work will help us reduce call volumes, improve the overall NPS and DUET scores and increase the overall insurance purchase repeat rate in the long run.
What you ll do:
  • Overall Role: Envision and deliver exceptional customer experiences for Insurtech products.
  • Business Impact: Drive trust, repeat purchases, reduce call volumes, and improve NPS/DUET scores.
  • Problem Definition: Frame problems, challenge assumptions, and define success metrics using data.
  • Design & Ideation: Generate diverse concepts, facilitate cross-functional ideation, and create visuals/prototypes.
  • Systems & Collaboration: Coordinate stakeholder input, apply systems thinking, and effectively use design systems.
  • Communication: Explain design rationale clearly, act on feedback, and tailor communication to the audience.
  • Customer Focus: Apply research insights to design solutions centered on customer needs.
Who You Are
  • Education/Experience: Bachelors or equivalent in HCI, UX, Design, or relevant experience. Must have
  • AI X Design literacy - In any designer/content designer we hire .
  • System thinking - We need someone who can think E2E especially when we are looking to hire these roles for servicing etc. Good to have:
  • Visual design skills enough to use the EG design system in an informed and creative ways.
  • Analytical skills to drive data driven design decisions. (mainly product and business data usage and interpretation, research and comp analysis )
  • Comms and content design literacy : We need someone who has a great comms skill and who has some perspective on content design as well. We need designers who can understand the basic principles of EG content design and TOV and be able to provide some initial perspective from their end.
  • Min 2+ years of experience
  • Core Skills: Strong in 1 core skill and capable in 2-3 others from:
    • Interaction/Visual Design
    • Information Architecture
    • User Research
    • Facilitation
    • Prototyping
    • Technical/Platform Knowledge
    • UX Writing
    • Illustration
    • Motion Design
