Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Utility Operator to oversee and maintain utility systems essential to dairy processing operations. This includes operation and monitoring of boilers, compressors, refrigeration systems, water treatment, and other support utilities to ensure uninterrupted and compliant plant functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain plant utility systems including:
• Ammonia refrigeration systems
• Steam boilers
• Air compressors
• Water treatment and wastewater systems
• Conduct routine inspections, log readings, and adjust controls to maintain safe and efficient performance
• Perform minor repairs and assist maintenance team during shutdowns or breakdowns
• Respond promptly to alarms, system failures, or deviations from standard operating conditions
• Follow all safety and environmental protocols including PPE, LOTO, and chemical handling
• Support energy conservation and system optimization initiatives
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs of daily operations and maintenance activities
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure utility availability meets dairy processing needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in utility operations, preferably in the food or dairy industry
• Basic knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, steam systems, and compressed air systems
• Ability to operate control panels and computerized monitoring systems (SCADA, PLCs, etc.)
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards (HACCP, GMPs, OSHA)
• Technical certification in utilities, refrigeration, or boiler operation preferred
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently or in a team

Working Conditions:

• Industrial dairy processing environment
• Exposure to high temperatures, noise, pressurized systems, and chemicals
• Rotational shifts and on-call availability may be required
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and perform maintenance in confined spaces

Job Type: फ़ुल-टाइम

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
