Job Summary:

User Experience Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

1. UX Development & Implementation

• Translate UX/UI designs, wireframes, and prototypes into responsive, production-ready interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
  
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure visual and interaction design fidelity.
  
• Implement and maintain component libraries and design systems for consistency across products.
  

2. Prototyping & Experimentation

• Build interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and user flows.
  
• Work closely with UX designers and researchers to test hypotheses and iterate based on user feedback.
  
• Explore emerging front-end and UX technologies to enhance innovation and usability.
  

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as a bridge between design and engineering teams, ensuring seamless handoffs and shared understanding of UX intent.
  
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components with APIs and data services.
  
• Partner with product managers to align technical feasibility with business and user goals.
  

4. Accessibility & Performance

• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, ADA).
  
• Optimize user interfaces for speed, scalability, and performance across devices and browsers.
  
• Conduct usability testing and recommend UX improvements based on insights and metrics.
  

5. Design Systems & Governance

• Contribute to the creation, documentation, and governance of reusable UI components.
  
• Maintain consistency and scalability across products through design system implementation.
  
• Advocate for best practices in design and front-end code quality.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with design systems such as Material UI, Fluent, or custom enterprise systems.
  
• Exposure to UX research methods and user testing.
  
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Web Components, or modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Sass).
  
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, version control (Git), and Agile/Scrum environments.
  
• Familiarity with mobile UX (iOS/Android) or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter)
