User Experience Designer

As a User Experience Designer at intelliflo, you will have a pivotal role in shaping and improving the user experience of our Cloud Edition product. Your responsibilities will encompass creating user-friendly interfaces, overseeing design projects, and collaborating with diverse teams to ensure the delivery of top-notch user experiences. Your primary duties will involve conducting thorough user research to comprehend user requirements, behaviors, and pain points, as well as testing to acquire insights that influence design choices. By analyzing user data and metrics, you will be empowered to make informed decisions regarding design. You will be tasked with crafting and refining UI/UX designs using tools like FIGMA and other design software, generating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with both business needs and user expectations, and maintaining consistency and adherence to style guides and design standards across all interfaces. Additionally, your role will involve contributing to the Style Guide and keeping it updated. In terms of collaboration and communication, you will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and various stakeholders to comprehend project requirements and establish clear delivery expectations. It will be essential for you to proactively communicate progress, delays, and changes to team members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency in all stages of the design process. Your collaboration with the Director of Delivery & PO Team will be instrumental in planning and executing design projects effectively. Moreover, you will play a mentoring and development role within the UI/UX team, providing guidance and feedback to team members and conducting training sessions to enhance the UI capabilities of developers while ensuring adherence to design standards. Creating a collaborative and supportive environment within and across UI/UX, PO, and Development teams will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. In terms of quality assurance, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous peer reviews of design changes to uphold high-quality standards and identifying and addressing any existing UI issues or deviations from the style guide continuously. Your technical skills should encompass expertise in wireframing and prototyping using tools like FIGMA, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision, knowledge of responsive design for various screen sizes and devices, a basic understanding of HTML and CSS, and skills in interaction design. Additionally, your creative skills should include a strong sense of aesthetics, the ability to incorporate brand identity into designs, and expertise in designing visually appealing and intuitive interfaces. Your analytical skills should cover user research, usability testing, and data analysis, enabling you to make data-informed design decisions. Effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, empathy towards users, time management skills, collaboration skills, and a commitment to continuous learning are also essential for excelling in this role.
