US residential underwriting

As a Team Lead with a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in the US Residential Mortgage industry, you will be responsible for managing a team of 20+ associates effectively. Your role will involve overseeing a team of 20+ Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) and should be flexible to work in any shifts as required. Strong communication skills are essential in order to clearly articulate information to your team. Additionally, it is mandatory to provide all educational and employment documents. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate strong domain knowledge in US Residential Mortgage, including Origination, preclosing, post-closing, processing, underwriting, etc. - Manage large teams, approximately 20-30 FTEs, with a background in team management. - Possess CRU (certified residential underwriter) certification from the mortgage bankers association. - Have knowledge of US Mortgage Origination Guidelines, LOS systems, Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS), and custom underwriting software systems. - Familiarity with FNMA and FHLMC guidelines. - Experience working with various income types such as wage, pension, SSA, disability benefit, self-employment, and rental income. - Proficiency in handling all product types of loans including FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional. - Operational understanding of wholesale/retail and correspondent residential lending guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 years of experience in US Residential Mortgage (Preferred). - Official Notice Period. - Work Location: In person. This is a permanent position where the mode of salary credit should be through bank from all employers, with no cash in hand transactions.
