US process associate / Intake Coordinator

Role Overview: As a US Operations Coordinator in the Intake Team at Proelio Technologies, you will be the first point of contact for patients, playing a crucial role in ensuring smooth and accurate intake processes. Your responsibilities will include verifying insurance, checking eligibility, and obtaining authorizations for medical services. Key Responsibilities: - Collect and record patient information accurately - Process incoming referrals and inquiries for medical services - Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits - Confirm insurance eligibility and accuracy of information - Determine patient eligibility for medical services based on insurance coverage - Identify any coverage limitations or exclusions - Provide clear information to patients regarding insurance coverage and financial responsibilities - Collaborate with other teams as needed - Maintain accurate records of patient intake activities - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations - Additional duties may be assigned as needed Qualifications: - Diploma/Bachelor's degree in any field is required - Fluent in English communication - Previous experience in medical billing process preferred - 1-3 years background in US medical process - Familiarity with medical terminology, billing and coding procedures, insurance guidelines, and reimbursement practices is preferred - Understanding of healthcare insurance processes - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively About Company: Proelio Technologies provides comprehensive support functions to PathWell Health in the United States.
