US IT Recruiter

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and screen candidates for IT roles using job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder), LinkedIn, internal databases, referrals, and other tools.
• Understand client requirements, technical job descriptions, and project details to identify the right candidates.
• Conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and manage the candidate communication process.
• Negotiate salary and benefits with candidates on behalf of the company or clients.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
• Ensure compliance with US recruitment laws and regulations (e.g., EEO, ADA, OFCCP).
• Work with visa candidates (H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, US Citizens) and understand work authorization issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on recruitment progress and metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 15 years of experience in US IT recruiting or staffing.
• Strong knowledge of US employment types (W2, C2C, 1099) and work authorization categories.
• Familiarity with technical roles such as developers, engineers, analysts, administrators, etc.
• Proficiency in sourcing tools, job boards, and ATS platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
