US GAAp and reporting- Manager/Sr Manager

In this role, you will lead the preparation and review of financial statements and regulatory filings for US-based entities in compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of technical accounting, strong analytical capabilities, and proven experience in managing reporting cycles and audit interactions.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

• Lead preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, S-1, etc.), ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Review financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and related disclosures for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Ensure accurate tagging and submission of filings using Workiva (Wdesk) or other SEC reporting tools.
• Oversee the consolidation and close process to ensure timely reporting of results.

Accounting and Technical Research

• Provide technical accounting guidance under US GAAP (ASC topics) on complex transactions such as revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, and business combinations.
• Monitor and interpret new accounting pronouncements (FASB updates) and assess their impact on financial statements.
• Ensure adherence to SOX 404 internal control requirements and maintain robust documentation.

Internal Controls & Audit Governance

• Act as the primary contact for external auditors, coordinating PBC requests, and ensuring timely closure of audit deliverables.
• Review audit findings and work with internal teams to strengthen control and reporting processes

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of reporting analysts and accountants.
• Collaborate closely with Controllership, FP&A, Tax, and Legal teams to ensure alignment of financial information and disclosures.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization of reporting practices.
