US Debt Collector

Job Summary

As a Third-Party Debt Collector, you will be responsible for contacting individuals or businesses that have outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring collections are made in a timely manner. The role demands strong communication skills, an understanding of consumer finance, and a commitment to resolving outstanding debts in a professional and legal manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact Debtors: Use phone, email, or written communication to contact individuals or businesses with overdue accounts.

• Negotiate Payment Plans: Offer solutions for debt repayment, including establishing payment plans and settlement options.

  Document Communication: Keep accurate records of all conversations, agreements, and actions taken in the collection process.

• Ensure Compliance: Adhere to federal and state debt collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

  Provide Customer Service: Maintain a professional and empathetic approach when dealing with debtors, understanding their financial situations and helping them navigate solutions.

  Track Account Progress: Monitor accounts for updates, payments, and changes in status.

Skills & Qualifications

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.

  Knowledge of Debt Collection Laws: Familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other relevant legal frameworks.

• Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to assess a situation, offer viable payment solutions, and negotiate effectively.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to keep accurate records and manage multiple accounts efficiently.

• Customer Service Orientation: Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy for clients.

• Computer Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software, debt collection platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment

• Work from office only

• Working Hours: May require working evenings or weekends, depending on client requirements.

Location: Noida, A 68 Sector 64

Salary upto 40k inhand + 3k attendance + 5k travel allowance + Incentives
