Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced US Accounting Specialist to manage day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance activities. Prior experience supporting US-based IT staffing firms is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, federal/state tax laws, and other financial regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with the US-based finance and payroll teams to streamline operations.
• Monitor and manage client invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
• Stay updated on changes in US tax regulations and accounting standards; suggest improvements to internal processes.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in US accounting, preferably in a US IT staffing firm.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax compliance.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and a self-starter attitude .
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
