Role Overview

Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development & Customization

• Develop and support

  Oracle Fusion technical components

  , including:

• Integrations

  (OIC, REST APIs, SOAP services)

• BI Publisher (BIP)

  reports

• OTBI dashboards

• Fast Formulas

  (HCM / Payroll / Benefits)

• FBDI templates

  and loaders

• HCM Extracts

• ADF/Visual Builder Extensions

  (VBCS)
• Create custom objects, extensions, and configurations as needed.
  

Integration Development

• Build and maintain end-to-end integrations using

  Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  .
• Work on file-based integrations, orchestration flows, and scheduled jobs.
  
• Troubleshoot integration failures and provide quick resolutions.
  

Data Migration & Conversion

• Handle data migration activities using:
  

• FBDI

  ,

  HDL/HSDL

  (for HCM)
• Validation and reconciliation of migrated data
  
• Develop programs/scripts to support transformation logic.
  

Technical Design & Documentation

• Work with functional teams to convert business requirements into technical specifications (MD50/MD70).
  
• Prepare design documents, mapping sheets, test scripts, and deployment guidelines.
  

Testing & Support

• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
  
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize integrations or custom components.
  
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, and quarterly update testing.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-10 years

  of experience as Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant.
• Strong hands-on expertise in at least

  3-4 of the following

  :
• OIC
  
• REST/SOAP APIs
  
• BIP / OTBI
  
• HDL / HCM Extracts
  
• FBDI
  
• Fast Formulas
  
• VBCS / PCS
  
• Good understanding of Oracle Cloud modules (HCM/Finance/SCM).
  
• Experience working with SQL, PL/SQL, and Web Services.
  
• Familiarity with security concepts (roles, privileges, duty roles).
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering degree (B.Tech/B.E.), MCA, or equivalent.
  
• Oracle Cloud Technical Certification (OIC or module-specific).
  
• Consulting background (Big 4 / Tier-1 SI) preferred.
  
• Experience in multi-module and multi-country implementations.
