Urgent Vacancy for Pellet Mill Machine Operator.

Job Summary

The CPM Pellet Mill Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining CPM pelletizing machines used for feed, biomass, or other pellet production. The operator ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality pellet output while minimizing downtime and maintaining machine health.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Machine Operation

• Operate CPM pellet mill and related equipment (conditioner, feeder, cooler, cyclone, conveyors).
• Adjust mill parameters such as steam, feeder rate, die & roller settings, and material flow.
• Start, stop, and control machine operation as per SOP.

2. Production Monitoring

• Monitor pellet quality, durability, moisture, and temperature.
• Keep track of machine amperage, throughput, and steam pressure.
• Perform routine checks to ensure continuous production.

3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform basic maintenance: lubrication, die & roller changes, cleaning, choke removal.
• Troubleshoot common issues like:
• Die choking
• Low pellet durability
• High temperature or moisture
• Irregular feed flow
• Report major mechanical or electrical issues to maintenance teams.

4. Quality Control

• Collect and test samples of raw material and finished pellets.
• Maintain records of batch details, machine settings, production logs, and quality parameters.
• Follow prescribed standards for pellet size, density, and finish.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Follow safety procedures, lock-out/tag-out, and GMP/5S housekeeping.
• Ensure safe handling of steam lines, rotating parts, and dust control systems.
• Maintain cleanliness around machines to avoid accidents and contamination.

6. Coordination

• Coordinate with the production supervisor, maintenance team, and quality department.
• Assist in material handling and support other operators as required.

Required Skills & QualificationsEducation

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Fitter, Production, or related field (preferred).

Experience

• 1–4 years experience in pellet mill operation (CPM, Andritz, Sprout, Servoday, etc.).
• Experience in feed mill, biomass pellet plant, or industrial pelletizing operations is an advantage.

Salary Range (India – Typical)

• ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month for experienced operators
• Accomodation + Food

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
