Magento 2 Developer

complex Magento projects

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop, customise, and maintain
Magento 2 modules and backend functionalities
Work on
Magento 2 customisation, extension development, and third-party integrations
Develop and integrate
React-based frontend components
with Magento backend
Implement
Hyv UI frontend
using reusable components for improved performance
Analyse technical and business requirements and propose optimal solutions
Integrate and manage
third-party APIs (REST / SOAP)
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and project managers
Ensure
responsive, mobile-first design
and optimise website performance
Follow Magento coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices
Perform debugging, issue resolution, and performance optimisation
Stay updated with
Magento upgrades, patches, and new technologies

Key Skills & Requirements

4+ years of hands-on experience
in Magento 2 development
Strong understanding of
Magento 2 architecture, MVC, EAV, and coding standards
Proficiency in
PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with
REST / SOAP APIs
Exposure to
React.js
and modern frontend frameworks
Knowledge of
Hyv Theme
is a plus
Additional experience with
Shopify and WordPress
is an advantage
Familiarity with
Git / version control systems
Experience in
performance optimisation, caching, and deployment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
