Machining Setup capability
Shop management/resource management
Excellent Trouble Shooting
Ensuring hourly productivity & quality

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day operations of the
Machine Shop
including production, planning, and manpower management.
Oversee
machining processes
such as
VMC, CNC, HMC, VTL
, and ensure process optimization.
Ensure programming knowledge and improvements in
VMC, CNC, HMC, and VTL machines
.
Supervise
broaching, hobbing, and grinding operations
to meet quality and delivery targets.
Develop and implement
production plans and schedules
based on demand forecasts and delivery timelines.

Technical Competencies:

Strong knowledge of
2D drawing interpretation
and
GD&T
.
Proficiency in
machining processes
and machine programming (VMC/CNC/HMC/VTL).
Practical experience with
broaching, hobbing, grinding, and leak testing
.
Familiarity with
assembly line operations
and
end-of-line testing
.
Hands-on knowledge of
TPM practices
,
OEE monitoring
, and
APQ
metrics.
