Urgent Hiring For Android Developer (Fresher) - Remote

Position:

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend developers, QA) to build and ship Android applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Kotlin/Java code following best practices.
• Participate in design and code reviews to uphold code quality standards.
• Implement new features, fix bugs, and optimize application performance (memory, battery, load time).
• Work on UI layouts, navigation, and mobile-specific interactions (touch gestures, notifications, background services).
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/services (e.g. Firebase, analytics, push notifications).
• Assist in testing (unit testing, instrumentation testing) and support QA efforts.
• Maintain documentation for code and application features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / related field (or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of Android fundamentals (Activity/Fragment lifecycle, layouts, intents, resources).
• Familiarity with Kotlin and/or Java.
• Awareness of Android UI/UX guidelines and standard design patterns (e.g. MVVM, MVC).
• Comfortable working with JSON, REST APIs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt, with a strong interest in mobile development.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills (English) for team collaboration and documentation.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, DataBinding).
• Basic testing knowledge (unit testing, UI testing).
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows for mobile apps.
• Internship or project experience in Android development (college project, personal project, hackathon, etc.).
