Urban Planning Manager

As a member of the urban planning team, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic planning and development efforts under the guidance of senior leadership. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams to integrate plans, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Your role will involve collecting and analyzing stakeholder inputs to facilitate effective planning decisions and tracking progress on initiatives to recommend operational improvements as necessary. In terms of project management, you will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of urban planning projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, and managing project schedules and budgets. This will involve liaising with consultants and vendors, organizing stakeholder meetings, and applying standard project management practices to enhance delivery outcomes while maintaining documentation and quality control. Stakeholder engagement is a key aspect of this role, where you will support activities such as stakeholder mapping, maintaining relationships with municipal authorities and community representatives, and coordinating logistics for public consultations. You will compile stakeholder feedback, maintain interaction records, and assist in addressing concerns in collaboration with the senior team. Additionally, you will assist in tracking project budgets, preparing reports for budget reviews, identifying variances, and supporting corrective measures in coordination with finance teams to optimize costs. Your role will also involve contributing to the digitization and automation of planning and reporting activities, promoting the adoption of digital tools, and supporting training initiatives to enhance team members" skills in utilizing new platforms. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience in urban planning or related roles. Previous experience in the real estate, infrastructure, or urban development sectors is preferred.,
